Trip Home
The trip home was uneventful, though it felt incredibly long. I got tired of listening to music on the way there, so I bought a few audiobooks for the trip back. The one I’ve listened to so far, Boomsday by Christopher Buckley (the guy that wrote Thank You For Smoking), was a disappointment.
Anna Claire’s birthday party itself was quite fun. My Mom commented that poor Anna Claire must have wondered what was going on and why everybody was paying so much attention to her. My parents had a big party and invited many friends and family. Photos, many of them taken by me, are here. My personal favorites are here, here, and here. My parents had a bunch of food, cake, and drinks (sadly, no beer though).
I also had a chance to see Damon, who I still owe a website for his comic. He seems to be doing well enough, minus the job that’s driving him crazy and the boys he’s met lately being crazy.
