PBC
Just got back from visiting Panama City Beach to again look at apartments. I had the opportunity to actually see the apartment at Alexan Back Beach (they couldn’t show me the unit last time because of a thunderstorm). I really liked the Sandpiper floorplan.
I looked at a few other places and while they were nice nothing was as interesting as a condominium Kenny had heard about from a co-worker. Nautilus Cove was nice and affordable at $159,000 for the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit I was interested in. I’m not sure how I feel about pursuing it though. I don’t have any savings to use as a down payment so I would be forced to take a 100% loan to buy it. Given that I haven’t even started at my new job yet, it might be best to wait. Most importantly, while I like the floorplan there, I like the floorplan at Alexan better. What’s the point of going to the trouble of a mortgage if after a single day I’m already unsure?
Regardless, it was nice to pal around PBC and Destin with Kenny. I can’t wait to hear back about a start date.
