Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix disappointed. I know the movies can not be the books, but there is still no reason for the movie to be so choppy and jumpy. There were times I was completely lost as to what was going on and I’ve read the book twice!
It’s barely worth mentioning that so many things were (needlessly?) changed that I wonder why they bother to “base” the movies on the books. Not like the books being popular might indicate that they are good as originally written or anything.
Good casting on Luna Lovegood. Terrible casting on Mrs. Figg and Tonks. So-so casting on Umbridge and Bellatrix.
Overall, if you’re going to do something, do it right.
